Barbara Campisi began her 20 year career in collections care in art transport, becoming adept at every aspect of safe art handling, from designing packing systems to arranging local and international transits. Currently, Campisi manages large and small private collections, responsible for the care and management of every media, as well as consulting for museums and galleries. She has worked closely with auction houses, curators, conservators, restorers, appraisers, lawyers, and insurance agents. As a studio artist with degrees in painting, sculpture and art history, Barbara has worked with a wide range of materials including plaster, plastic, bronze casting, ceramics, printmaking, watercolors, oil painting, encaustic and nontraditional media. This experience gives her an intimate understanding of the unique properties and physical needs of each medium.
